Sobrarbe invites the walker to discover and enjoy its valleys through an extensive trail network. More than 1000 km of marked roads run through these mountains. From the Long Distance Paths (Rutas de Gran Recorrido) marked red and white, to recovered old paths, without forgetting those Short Distance Paths (Senderos de Pequeño Recorrido) marked red and yellow. You will find a great variety of routes suited to every level.
Among them, we should highlight the GR 11, GR 15 and GR 1, three large transversal routes that cross the Pyrenees from east to west and allow you to discover the Pyrenees most beautiful spots. The GR1 runs through the pre-Pyrenean mountain range in a route that’s very varied and culturally rich.
The GR11, “the Pyrenean Path”, crosses the Pyrenees through its wildest mountains. Without getting to step on its peaks, it surrounds them passing through valleys, forests and lakes. The Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, the Añisclo pass, the Pineta circus or the Barrosa and Chistau valleys.
The GR15 runs in parallel between the GR1 and the GR11. In Sobrarbe it passes through Fanlo, Nerín, San Úrbez, Tella, Escuaín or Saravillo.
